L'Oreal True Match Lumi Powder Glow Illuminator Review

Today I will be reviewing the L'Oreal True Match Lumi Powder Glow Illuminator since I have had this highlighter for a couple of weeks now. There are currently 3 different shades to choose from and the one I have is W102 Golden. Here are my pros and cons...

Pros:
Packaging (comes with a brush & mirror)
Pigmentation
Color can be used blended together or individually

Cons:
Price ($12.99 at Ulta)
Gold glitter shade is too big and settles in pores

Overall I would say this is a decent highlighter. Yes, you could probably find something cheaper that is better quality. The have experimented with using this highlighter as eyeshadow and it does look nice. My favorite was to use this product is by swirling my brush on all of the shades and applying on my cheeks and cheekbones because this gives a nice glow. I do not recommend using this if you have big pores or if makeup tends to settle into fine lines for you because this product will definitely do that. From far away it's not noticeable but up close you see that. Also, the gold glitter seems to be too big and not milled finely enough. If you're not into spending $12.99 on a drugstore product I would not recommend but if you don't mind trying it out I would go for it because it is pretty decent and gives a nice glow to the skin!

Mini Makeup Haul

L'Oreal Boost It High Lift Creation Spray / L'Oreal Miss Manga Waterproof Mascara / Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Eyeliner in Nude / Elf Shine Eraser Oil Blotting Sheets / Rimmel Stay Matte Primer
So recently I picked up a couple new beauty products to try out. I haven't bought makeup in a while so I needed some things. I bought these last week so I've had the opportunity to try them out and see how I like them. I may do a demo or review on some of these products, specifically the L'Oreal Boost It spray because I've found that I'm really liking it at the moment. If you have any new beauty products you could recommend me, let me know in the comments!

Valentine's Day.

Black cropped sweater - Urban Outfitters // Cardigan - Hollister // Jeans - Gap // Platform booties - GoJane

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Even though this year I don't have a valentine, I think it's still nice to get yourself all dolled up and be around the people you love. I thought I'd show you what I'm wearing today and as you can tell, my outfit doesn't have any pink or red in it. I just thought I'd keep my outfit pretty simple because I'm spending my day eating chocolates and watching chic flicks. I hope you all have a pleasant Valentine's day and I hope you all feel loved!

There aren't any link as to where my outfit is from because just about everything isn't sold anymore, sorry! Also, if you want to know about my makeup routine, just let me know and I'll make a post for it! xx

Neutrogena Naturals Fresh Cleansing & Makeup Remover Review

I used to only use makeup removing wipes to take my makeup off after a long day but I got tired of having to use multiple wipes to get my makeup completely removed. Also the wiping isn't good for your skin because it pulls the skin and this is in your under eye area.

Anyways, I picked up the Neutrogena Naturals fresh cleansing & makeup remover mainly because it cheap and I have heard pretty good reviews about it. I'm actually surprised my how well it works. Honestly, I didn't think it could possibly work that well but it actually does. All I do is lather it on my skin and spend some time getting off my mascara. Another thing that surprised me was how much quicker this is than the wipes. It didn't take long and afterwards my makeup was basically completely removed.

After I use this product, I finish cleansing my face with an exfoliating scrub and then I'm done! So quick and easy, I recommend that everyone should give it a try if you currently use makeup removing wipes.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara Review

I was in need of a new mascara so yesterday I stopped by Target and picked up the brand new Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara for about $6.99. There aren't too many reviews up yet on the product so I figured that I might as well give my opinion.

First off, let me just say that I LOVE the brush. I've always preferred plastic applicators supposed to the bristled brushes because I feel that they grip the lashes better. The applicator isn't too big and I like that it has a curved shape to it.
